A REQUEST FOR VETERANS. HELP, ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT, A MEETING PLACE.

Recently I had a lengthy discussion with Veteran's in Northglenn.  They wanted a place where they can get Support, Help, Assistance, a place here in Northglenn where they can meet and organize events for all the Veteran's of Northglenn.  They didn't want a bar, or dues, or a stuffy environment or have to drive out of town.  They wanted it here in Northglenn.  I'm a Veteran myself and I know how it feels to be in Colorado and told by the VA it will not help you.  At that time the VA in Colorado was suffering significant issues in staffing and funding and a long list of problems.  After being denied help by the VA.  I honestly stopped caring back then.  I'm not the only one that felt let down.

Time and time again I keep meeting Veteran's in Northglenn and many feel isolated or alone.  Many have run into significant issues here in Northglenn.  Able to drive a Tank but not their own Car and the DMV keeps hassling them.  I know how that feels I had the same problem and to me it seemed motivated by party politics in a blue state.  Things have to change.

I was shocked when I learned a VFW that wanted to locate to Northglenn was scared out of our fine city and located to another city instead.  Locating activities close to Northglenn is not what people in Northglenn want.  They want what Cities should have.  Northglenn is a City and it should have what most cities have.  I fully agree with that. Close to Northglenn is not good enough.

Northglenn does have a Community Center and it's building a New One.  When elected Mayor this Veteran feels that the Veteran's of Northglenn need more than some statue that roughly supports our cause.  The Veteran's of Northglenn deserve the ability to gather and get resources.  Help, Support and Assistance.  I'll even go to Veteran's affairs to get things started.  Many Veterans just want to compare notes and feel they are part of the organization and the good community living they experienced in the US Department of Defense.  Anyone living on Yokosuka base can tell you that Navy base operated better than Northglenn and literally a Paradise Community.  For a Military Base. It was by the ocean with great scenery and parks.  The City of Yokosuka Base is something I bring with me and I can bring that sense of community to Northglenn that we military Veterans got spoiled with.  Veteran's that lived on those bases know what I am talking about.  Northglenn can benefit from my Experience and Knowledge.  This would also improve the quality of life for our Veteran's.  This would also aid in many facets of the City of Northglenn by getting Veteran's more involved.  If I bring anything form Yokosuka to Northglenn, all the citizen's benefit.

Vote Mark Philip Bromley for Mayor and we'll set a new paradigm for Veteran Collaboration in Northglenn.  Gaining the support of my fellow Veteran's in Northglenn would be a great asset to get this Help, Assistance and Support the Veteran's of Northglenn need.

Honor, Commitment, Courage.

On a Side Note:  We also discussed Anythink and it's plans for a possible Library/Work Force Improvement Center site in Northglenn.  The Veteran's were excited about that idea.  If 6A passes some of that funding might make it a reality.  If Northglenn can get any grants or government assistance for Veteran buildings in Northglenn that can help fund a new Anythink in Northglenn. Northglenn could very well get it's own unique Library.  The Veteran's liked this idea and so did many other Citizen's in Northglenn.  If we change the Council, elect me Mayor, and change the council disposition.  We could do so much better and we might be able to get what we need working with worthy DoD, USO, VA, and other Government Agencies.  It could work I have Federal Level Political experience that might do it with the right support.
