The Short Story of Mark Philip Bromley.

He was born in Denver Colorado in 1969, and life long resident of Northglenn, Colorado. 

He attended Eastlake elementary, Holstrum Elementary, Stuckey Elementary, and several other Elementary schools in Northglenn.  Along with Cotton Creek Elementary in Westminster.  Went to Huron Junior High and then Northglenn High School. Go Norse!!!

Grew up with many Citizens from all over House District 34 and knows and understands the people of House District 34 very well.

After High School he attended Western State College/University in Gunnison, Colorado. Go Mountaineer's!!!

It was at Western State University in Gunnison that He got his first experience in small politics through a Leadership Fraternity called Theta Chi, Gamma Epsilon Chapter. He held the position of Pledge chairman, Alumni Coordinator and Secretary of the Fraternity. He along with his entire Fraternity took over the Radio Station and Television Station and supplied the local News programming sponsored by 9 News out of Denver. Along with other fine Radio and Televised productions.  We also took over the Theater.

His breaks from College allowed him to work with Denver/Boulder based Musicians, DJ's and Art Production company as the Lead Artist that achieved a minor amount of notice by Denver based News media.

After higher learning he joined the US Navy as an Electrician and Electronics Technician, Interior Communications Electrician specialist, aboard the USS Independence CV-62 Then crossed decked to the USS Kitty Hawk CV-63. His service in the US Navy stationed him forward deployed on Freedoms Flag ship. Mostly stationed in Japan with consecutive tours of duty in a war zone of the middle east crisis locations. 

He was quickly promoted to leadership in the Air Department V-2 division for Launch and Recovery of Aircraft. His collateral duties while in Japan and other foreign nations put him in public relations with foreign nationals and a Liaison upholding the policies of the Status of Forces Agreements. Working with US and Foreign locals, businesses, Embassy's and Embassy Staffers. He was often called upon for Dress Uniform details during political events. 

 He was highly decorated and earned a Veteran Medal before his Honorable Separation from the US Navy fulfilling his oath of Honor, commitment and courage.

Some of the councils He attended while in the US Navy was ABMA (Aviation Boatswain Mate Association), ALRE (Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment), Deparmental and Command Khaki meetings and Officer meetings as an Enlisted.  He was a Liason to SRF (Ship Repair Force) Yokosuka, Japan.  Attended organizational and operational meetings.  The US Navy placed a lot of value in him.

While In Japan. He met his wife who was a medical nurses assistant, administrative medical assistant, highly skilled french pastry chef (studied in France) and child care provider with an extensive family background of highly distinguished family linage. A relations of hers was noted as the President of one of Japans largest airports.  Mark Bromley's wife was from Asa Kita-ku in Hiroshima. 

After the US Navy He returned to Northglenn Colorado with a struggling family and Had a Son born in Louisville, Colorado. At this time he worked as an Armed Armored Car Operator and worked with the Banking institutions of Colorado. On a routine basis servicing the Denver, Colorado Mint and Federal Reserve Banks. Worked at a Hotel assisting the Denver Broncos that also had a Golf Club.  The Inverness Hotel and Golf Club in Englewood Colorado that was set up for a US Presidential stays.

The Inverness hotel and Golf Club would be a very nice place for President Trump to stay at.  Which also has facilities in Vail for skiing.    

He applied to become a Denver Police officer and was just about to take the physical test when the US Department of Homeland Security sequestered Mark Bromley's services as a Leader to guide the Roll out and administration of Transportation Security Administrations Security operations.

This is when the event's of 911 happened and the creation of the US department of Homeland Security began by G.W. Bush Jr. That ended up employing him. He originally applied for the leadership role in Gunnison, Colorado. Homeland Security in Grand Junction Colorado had different plans and offered him Moab Utah instead. This job for Homeland Security was more politically based than what the job entailed. 

While in Moab, Utah. Mark Bromley interacted with politicians on a daily basis and met people like Senator Orin Hatch and Congressman Jim Matheson. He participated in Local meetings of the Grand County Airport Board, Moab Traval Council (suggested Ideas for their campaigns found in many airports in the USA and world wide.) Grand County and Moab Planning committee, and joined the Elks Lodge of Moab. Along with a long list of other worthy organizations, boards and committees and the Chamber of Commerce. 

One day he was informed by a passing motorist that there was a terrible accident and people needed help. He went to the crash site to render what assistance he could with his CPR skills and First Aid and Triage knowledge he got from his time in the US Navy, the CERT program, and FEMA Emergency Management training. When he got there there was already an off duty EMT on site and they did what they could for the family of 5 that was involved in an accident in the middle of nowhere waiting 40 long minutes for First Responders to Arrive. It was after this incident that the City Police, local politicians, People he knew in the Mormon church and other people of Moab insisted he run for Moab City Council.

He did run for Moab City Council. Didn't even think he had a chance but decided to test the deep waters of Political Candidacy. Okay more like 4 feet of water. He ran against two other local hero's of the City of Moab both involved in Emergency management and Civil Administration. He could of won this Election to the seat of Moab City Council if only he tried just a bit harder. He got a good number of votes.   Mark Bromley was successful in his test for political candidacy even though he didn't win that election.

Eventually his career as a licensed Electrician found need for his services in the California San Diego Ship yards helping to build US Naval Supply ships. Here he got to work with people in the Marine craft industry that include people from all different walks of life. This included banking professionals, politicians, real estate investors and private contractors. Eventually lead him to starting his own small business in Marine craft engineering and design for yachts, powerboats, sailboats and other private businesses. This was going well until there was an Economic down turn created by the Obama Administration and the US government shut down funding to projects in the ship yards. Leaving many people without jobs. Highly skilled people with no jobs made finding work difficult for many small businesses. Which caused Mark Bromley to return to Northglenn, Colorado as a result. 

Mark Bromley then ran for the Mayor of Northglenn, Colorado his home city in 2019 and earned 2140 plus votes. He spent nothing and went door to door all over Northglenn earning his votes one voter at a time. An election he could of won if it wasn't for the City of Northglenn providing an unfair and unequal amount of election assistance to his competition. Mark Bromley spent Zero Dollars, and his competition spent over $5000 of money they claimed, and another estimated $10,000 to $20,000 plus of city funding they did not have to report to get votes.  

Mark Bromley ran in an election that was unfair and bias by the city that had become corrupt.   

Mark Bromley fought for Transparency, Equality and Fairness during the 2019 Northglenn Election. The city of Northglenn did not give him that, the city gave him corruption and disrespect and deception and tried to make fun of him.

It was from the City of Northglenn that Mark Bromley learned of Political Intolerance and hate from Democrats who did not respect their citizens in Northglenn.  

None the less moving Forward with exceptional Leadership.  Mark Bromley created the first Facebook candidate forum Northglenn ever had by convincing the Ward 4 council members to do it.

 Mark Bromley also created the first Northglenn City sponsored Televised and and youtube candidate forum at the old D.L. Parson Theater at the community center sponsored by Northglenns Senior Organization and the League of Women Voters. 

This was inspired by the televised Moab city council election Mark Bromley ran in. Which was likewise organized by the Moab Senior Organization and the League of Women Voters.  The purpose of this was so that 13 candidates could get some kind of fair representation than the over 4 to 6 months of publicity for only 3 candidates on the council were unfairly already getting.  

It was Mark Bromley's Leadership that made changes in the city of Northglenn in 3 months as the existing council fixated on Mark Bromley's issues on the walk about via his website. Where the City began responding to every problem Mark Bromley mentioned via this website. For a while Mark Bromley was succeeding in getting things fixed in Northglenn until the city started locking him out.

Thus, Mark Bromley created the first time ever "Council Calming" project. Because of abuses Mark Bromley witnessed on the council. Mark Bromley created a level of civility and professionalism on the city council that was lacking and got a lot of things done in the city of Northglenn. 

Finally got the city of Northglenn to recognize there was still a homeless issue and it's the city responsibility to find solutions. 

At the time of writing it is Mark Bromley's hope to create a "Turn Key" program to help the homeless to get back into ordinary society easily and effectively. 

Even with Northglenn finally recognizing the Homeless Condition is not one of drugs or mental illness. Homelessness is an economic hardship was a mile stone hurdle Mark Bromley got the broken council of Northglenn to recognize, address and reach out to Colorado sources to seek a solution. 

Still Northglenn and Colorado has a long way to go to meet Mark Bromley's expectations of the "Turn Key" program.  Temporary Shelter is not a home and if they do not rent or own a property they are still homeless even if they might have temporary shelter.  

The idea of the "Turn Key," program is a Home, a Fair Quality Job and income, appropriate assistance and food. Where the Homeless are quickly placed back into a means to easily succeed and integrate effectively back into ordinary society.

We can only hope that with great humility the Council of the City of Northglenn continues the greatest of all purposes of Government and honestly works harder than before to continue protecting the citizens and people in Northglenn, including the homeless. 

Mark Bromley is an exceptional Leader of Federal Government Service experience. Mark Bromley taught the Northglenn council that real Leadership is a commitment of time and honest attendance and dedication to the purpose of government. 

Mark Bromley hopes for a Better and Brighter future for Northglenn as he moves on to a larger scope of personal sacrifice to bring his Federal level of Government Leadership skills to the greater Masses of Colorado.

Today at the end of the Mayoral race. Mark Bromley is moving forward with the next step up from City Politics to that of State. Mark Bromley values the experience and the limited time he had in fixing Northglenn and is now going out of his way to help more people in Colorado. 

Working harder because he has too for Colorado and he cares. Mark Bromley sees there is much change needed in Colorado and his efforts will be better for Northglenn and his beloved state of Colorado and it's people in a higher calling. 

For he's become what Colorado wants and needs because he's wore a good number of hats in life and he knows the people of Colorado. Mark Bromley is Colorado and he's here for you. 

Mark Bromley is a person you can speak too and talk to for hours. Offers a shoulder to lean on, a helping hand, and provides support, understanding and even hugs. He's a rock in a hard place and a constant present reminder that we can all rise to better values and create a better and brighter future.  

Let's move forward and Vote Bromley. Yes he's a Colorado Denver Born Native. He's the sensible choice and he's got a proven track record of accomplishment and real leadership skills with a gentle hand of influence. People have followed Mark Bromley because they know he's a good Leader and cares.
