MALLEY DRIVE, SPEED BUMPS, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SAFETY
Malley Dive an issue that has never been resolved in over 10 years. What are the other people in the Mayors race been doing with all that time on the City Council? Not much in over 10 years on the Council and on the Citizens Advisory Board. Let's talk about that later. So frustrating when city center building icons are missing, improvements not done and a party party attitude seems to have enslaved a council to ignoring the citizens.
As Mayor the citizens of Northglenn deserve better, and I, Mark Bromley, am that solution.
Malley Drive is a street I grew up on every time I visited my friends in Ward 2 while I was growing up Northglenn. I got it from all residents I visited on that street. Speeding on Malley making the street unsafe and children going to school under threat. No solutions to the problems of Malley Drive in over a decade. Don't let the same council members that did nothing become Mayor they will do more nothing for Malley Drive.
What will I work on for Malley Drive as Mayor? I'll first off get lights installed at the schools main and manned cross-walks. Creating visual awareness of pedestrian crossings. Which will train more drivers to be aware of crossing lights while operating a moving vehicle. The other step that I have spent some time reviewing is creating visual redesign of Malley drive that keeps the function of the street intact but visually makes motorists want to drive slower. After all Emergency Vehicles do need to service the neighborhood and using a smarter approach to encouraging safe driving habits can be done. This is information I have become familiar with in my time working in government and understanding the NTSB. National Transportation and Safety Board along with training I took under FEMA.
Vote-Bromley as Mayor, I'll push to do more in my first 4 years than the other 2 have not. I'm not only going to work on just Malley Drive. I'm also going to be doing this in all 4 wards. That's why I got my signatures for Mayor from all 4 wards and much more than I needed because I, Mark Bromley, am a Mayor for the Citizens of Northglenn.
