NEIGHBORHOOD ROADS CHIP SEAL AND MAINTENANCE.

There are neighborhood streets in many forgotten corners of Northglenn that need some TLC.  Currently the most recent project is going to be Claude Court which is a long stretch of road in Ward 2.  But the streets this is about is some of the smaller streets that haven't been chip sealed in years.  There are quite a few and these roads are not common high use road ways in the city.  The streets tend to be on the back roads only frequented by the residents living on those streets.

One of the largest complaints I've heard is about streets in the neighborhood and often the high use streets take a priority when funding is low.  Hopefully as Mayor we'll see what we can do to optimize street upkeep and repair.  The streets around 113th place near the LDS Church I attended while growing up, look pretty much in need of care.  Those streets showed a significant amount of need and should be looked into.

Streets are a top priority in Northglenn and it's how all the Citizens get around in their daily activities.  That's why I say more has to be done for our streets.  That's a broad concern of mine.  Maintenance and upkeep is a priority.  Then along with that we need to make our streets safer, maintain posted speed limits and create better safety for traffic and people having to cross the streets.  For our roads are the life blood of the city of Northglenn.
