ONE VOTE AND DIVERSITY.
I'm a big supporter and believer in the purpose and intention of the USA Constitution. I accept Diversity and believe government is best served by the Equality and Fairness and Transparency of Council being best served by the largest amount of individuality. I think councils should represent the cross section of the society they service so the most number of people can be heard. When I talk about Consensus. I speak of the needs of the community of all of it's people. I do not care about a 4000 person survey done by what is called "reputable" company. Especially when there are 39000 plus individuals living in Northglenn. 4000 surveys sent to who? Which Political Party? Reputable Company who do they really work for? Why not tell us the company name so we can see who it services and it's political agenda? Why do we got to play these progressive games by a council that is so unfairly unbalanced it is listening only to less than 0.8 percent or the 340 plus or minus people of who the council like to hear from?
It's true as Mayor I only have one vote. This is good. But it is even better I have effective leadership skills and have lead by example, Excellent attendance, being the rock and shoulder to lean on. I was given many motto's while growing up. Huron Jr. High Northglenn, "Above the Crowd." Northglenn High School class of 1988, "We Lead Other's Follow." Northglenn District 12 Schools, Distributive Education Clubs of America D.E.C.A. as Key chain for Mountain Bell, "The key to success is self discipline." Western State Univeristy, understanding the sculpture and My Fraternity motto, "The Helping Hand." Service in the USA Navy, "Honor, Commitment and Courage." Homeland Security, "I'm not Different from you, I am Different Like You." and the Leadership Challenge. Many more well intended motivators of true leadership and other good positive skills I acquired from watching and observing peers and mentors in my life.
On top of this. I have read and learned histories from many lands many different books. I have actually read the Bible old and new from front to back along with texts of the book of Mormon, Quran entire book, Books of Buddism in Japanese, Paganism, and many other religions of the world. To know the spirit of the faith of the hart of people of a diverse world. All so I could implement the value of my one vote and lead the council of people to create and craft and sculpt a better and brighter future for not just Northglenn but hopefully the world. It would be great to begin with the knowledge and philosophy I have acquired and worked diligently at for over 50 years to start here in My home town as Mayor.
Currently our Toxic Council in Northglenn is in the wrong mind think on how votes should go. They are stuck in the agenda of a single party. They have progressed to fast that they stopped listening to the people of Northglenn. Because there isn't enough Diversity on the City Council. Diversity on Council means there should be different votes, not the just one single dictator voice subduing the council and oppressing the citizens by Tyranny. This is why things are going wrong and Toxic. The council is not an open forum it is closed minded and on a single reckless path. My Leadership is generosity, kindness, and a gentle hand. It's a good leadership and a safe welcoming leadership with an open door to the thoughts of all.
In Homeland Security I was pressured by executive management under threat of losing my job, or to say by a gun to my head. To lie, to harm those under me to betray my values and my philosophies in Leadership. I could not do this, I decided to only defend my people and those under me from Cruel Abusive executive management in Homeland Security and bad politics.
The Bromley name has a motto that we do not give into meaner things. It's that reason I switched from Council member of Ward 3 to Mayor because I saw the meaner things running for Mayor.
An experience I had here in Northglenn sums up my true self. It happened on a Halloween Night, I wearing my Spock costume. Was up in Ward 4 across the street from the Home of former Northglenn Mayor O'dell Berry. A kid on a bike crashed next to me and even though I knew he grabbed for my candy and my grip on the bag was why he crashed. I put down my candy and went over and asked if he was okay? He looked at me strangely because he didn't expect kindness or help from his victim coming to help him. Instead he panicked and grabbed my candy and took off wobbling on his bike from some nasty road burn he got. I was disappointed that he didn't want to become a friend, and continued on his path. I often wonder if he ever reflects on my actions of kindness and if he ever learned the lesson I tried to teach him? I'll never Know.
I tell that story so people can understand a path I prefer over the other avenues that many fail at in life. It's a Philosophical path I have chosen in life and I'm not especially good at it. It's a path of Kindness and Right action, Right thought, and attempting Rational methods to protect others and improve the human condition. It is a very difficult path to walk in life and sometimes I fail at it, but when I succeed the rewards out weigh all the trouble to pursue Kindness, Understanding, Sagacious, Resolute, Empowering in ones life.
Usually my methods are to educate people about things they may not see themselves doing. I do hope some of the Toxic people on the council are learning and realizing there is a better way to do things. This election I'm hoping to change the people on the Council to a better more diverse group of people who honestly care about Northglenn. I'm waiting until after October 16th to give you my picks. I'm still on the fence with Ward 4 and I'm pretty sure of what I'd like to see on ward 2 but I need the October 16th Forum. The fact the October 16th forum at the Community Center, D.L. Parsons Theater will be televised by channel 8 is my influence and leadership. I just hope the televised event goes well and there is no Technical Difficulties. Leadership of the gentle hand is always a work in progress and there is always one concern after another that never ends. I want the city of Northglenn know, I'm the leader for the city I'm the Mayor vote for because my Leadership skills are proven to work and Success is what I do. People have followed me and many of them have become better Leaders as a result.
Vote Mark Philip Bromley for Mayor of the Northglenn the best choice for a better and brighter future for Northglenn.
