STATE INTERVENTION OF CITY CAUSED PREDATORY REAL ESTATE HOUSING SCHEMES.

This topic is a state legislation issue in common with an increasing need for state intervention of municipality councils that have been corrupted or taken over by predatory real estate agents.  These Predatory real estate schemes involve the utilization of city and tax payer resources to target the poor, weak, elderly or vulnerable residents experiencing financial hardship.  The people at risk are those who spent decades to own a piece of the American Dream and are now subjected to increased code enforcement and given threats to have their properties taken from them by the City through excessive and over the top outrageous code enforcement tactics created by the city council who is doing the dirty work of private predatory real estate agents abusing the city resources to turn profit for their own selfish interests.  That way the predatory real estate agents never have to work as hard as most of the Citizens of Colorado.

These activities came to my attention by harmful and abusive conditions I have experienced via code enforcement activities and witnessed in the City of Northglenn spanning over 2 decades.  Becoming more obvious and presenting a true threat to long term residents and good law abiding citizens and has turned neighbor against neighbor.  Which began for the senior citizens I know around Mayor Novak and Mayor Downings terms in office.  

As of today many suspect so called "Sustainability Laws," other regulations, the attempt of trying to force Citizens of Northglenn into a city wide HOA no one wanted,  "Tree City USA," along with issues the Citizens voted down and the City Council overturned the vote of the people, Resulting in Anarchy caused in the NGPD around 5 or more years ago when the code enforcement became a separate unit from the police.  Resulting in an unresolved tensions in the city and a conflict of interest which is still continuing and creating much civil unrest as far as a rise in crime rates.  Has become the result of piss poor government oversight that is still continuing with what former Mayor Dodge called a "Toxic Council" to this day.  

Sadly conditions have not changed in Northglenn in this part of House District 34 and have only gotten worse.  Honest elections are no more.  The council itself has planned methods to steal and divide votes and subvert honest elections. Along with lying about being a Non-Partisan election.  City Elections are Partisan and should reflect this truth.  The State does need to step in and mediate citizen concerns that the City Councils no longer cares to consider.  50 plus year Resident Citizens are no longer welcome around the council and some are honorable service veterans.  

For the Corruption of city council is deep and these councils only follow less than 1 percent of the citizens and those putting money in their pockets.

Much of these events stem directly from Predatory Real Estate Agents that over the past 2 decades have done a lot of harm to law abiding citizens using harmful and cruel process such as "Operation Clean Sweep." and Code Enforcement to negatively impact residents of the city.  So that these Predatory Real Estate schemers could try to maximize their profits at the expense of other Property owners and Renters.  A forced oppressive form of Slavery to take advantage of citizens in the community.  This way some shady real estate small time agents could maximize their own personal profit by controlling the City Council and thus the Code Enforcement as their petty thugs.  (For true law enforcement this would cause internal conflict and it has. There's a higher moral and Ethical dilemma and for many we find this in the bible.) 

I see these people claiming they are, "Fighting For Families."  How so?  I don't see it.  What is most sacred to Family?  But that of Home and the physical location of home.  Many people of Northglenn, Many Coloradoan's call their Mothers home their Family Home, their Family Roots. America claims values of Hard work and Family.  But what is the value of Hard work?  50 or more years to buy an American Dream and a Family Home founded on youthful hard work.  Only to get old, weak and vulnerable stuck to a fixed income.  Then a Predatory Real Estate schemer comes along usurps the power of the city council and abusively uses an overly harmful progressive set of laws they made up to try and steal that hard earned home built and paid for on a long road of trials and tribulation.

This is fighting for families this is Caring about Coloradoan's and this is for Colorado's Future generations.  Let's stop these predators and defend the flock.  This is part of a larger Legislation needed at the State level of intervention so Citizens have a voice when city councils are failing.
